Racing Woven Mainsails
High performance, balanced with durability and reasonable cost are the design criteria. Modern Cross-cut construction with radial corner patches. Ideally suited for Club Racing and One-Design Classes. Proprietary design software in the hands of some of the world's most talented designers imparts true three dimensional shaping. Each edge of each section is shaped with tiny amounts of curvature. Large number of sections allow shaping to be carried smoothly and precisely throughout the sail, insuring control over vertical distribution of camber and hard to shape corners.
Available in medium firm, firm, and yarn-tempered finished Dacron. Careful attention is given to "multi-axial" stability (balanced strength), creating a much more controled bias stability.
Shaping is custom tailored on a sail by sail basis to expected usage and boat specific constraints (like mastbend).Our Products
